The idea for this design came from our experiences as children of immigrants (specifically Asian household). Growing up, it’s not often we hear our parents tell us they love us or admit they’re wrong. Certain things we find hard to say ourselves or there are things we say but don’t actually mean it. It is a mix of things that we should say more and things that we shouldn’t say— hence “Words Unspoken.”
